Awww today is our boy’s birthday!!!!

He is a whole year old today!!!

We are SO blessed to have siuch a loving, sweet, joyous dog in our lives, and we owe Apryl so much for trusting us with one of her favorite babies!

He is kissed and loved on so many times a day – as we can;’t believe how lucky we are to have him with us.

Our Birthday Boy

This house bites. It’s a plaster house – and it is BRUTALLY cold. No heating here either – except some ancient wire heater that is embedded tin the wall and smokes when you turn it on before it trips the breakers. Besides being scary since the wall heats up – it puts out like no heat really – so is basically useless.

Space heaters to the rescue and lots of blankets. Toby doesn’t sleep in the crate – too cold, so the cat and Toby sleep with us – only way to stay warm.

But the yard is cool for Toby, and at least it’s a place to be. Hopefully it will be temporary and we can get out of here by summer!!
